PORT OF CASABLANCA
The port of Casablanca was designed in 1907 and has been growing ever since.
Today considered as the economic heart of the city, it covers more than 180 ha and includes several docks, shipyards, a ferry terminal, embarkation stations for ferries and cruise ships as well as a marina. The port has three distinct activities:
It is a fishing port where boats bursting with fish dock every day.
It is a marina.
It is a commercial and import/export port.
To visit, an authorisation, generally granted quickly, is needed from the entrance to gate 5. It’s worth it for the couple of excellent licenced restaurants within.
