ABOUT REHAMNA
Want to discover Rehamna? There are a thousand and one ways to do so. A temperate climate on a diversity of magnificent landscapes makes it a fine place to spend a few days as calm and pleasant in summer as in winter with its semi-arid climate characterised by scant rainfall during the cold season and a hot, dry summer.
A Moroccan city, this province with an area of 5,856 square km, is located north of the region of Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz and is bordered to the north by the river Oum Errabia, to the east by the province of El Kelâa des Sraghna, to the south by the Tensift wadi, to the west by the Doukkala-Abda region and has a population of 300,000.
Rehamna is a border region of the city of Marrakech with a rich history and magnificent landscape. Its geographical position near the city of Marrakech gives it a chance to be a secondary city visited after the latter – there are valleys, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, historic and archaeological sites, everything you could dream of seeing. Large-scale tourism projects, representing colossal investments, are also underway within the province.
Rehamna is, moreover, a veritable reservoir of natural sites with in particular a National Park on the Ourika, Imlil and Ouirgane valleys, the Oukaimeden ski resort, the Lalla Takerkoust dam and the Tighdouine hydrothermal spring.
