FISHING PORT

The city of Agadir is made up of three main ports: the marina, the fishing port and the commercial port.
Needless to say, the city resonates to the sea air! The ports are all recent and modern. The commercial port is surrounded by warehouses and canning and freezing factories.
Exterior trade is mainly composed of fruit and vegetables as well as of ores. The fishing port is mainly based on sardine fishing. When you visit, wear a nosegay! You have been warned!
To compensate for this discomfort and to encourage you to stay in the heart of this discovery, each afternoon the fishermen have an auction to sell their latest catch.
For the less adventurous, numerous sardine restaurants flourish near the port.
