The village of Demnate, 46km from Azilal on the road to Marrakech, is one of the gates of the High Atlas.

Perched on the side of the rock, this small town is not lacking in scenic beauty.

Interesting ramparts (the Kasbah dates from the time of Glaoui), opulent orchards where olive, walnut and fig trees predominate. Souk on Sunday.
