DOUIRA BEACH

Built into the rock, right on the cliff, this small Moroccan troglodyte village about fifty kilometres from Agadir and about the same from Taroudant, astounds with the ability of its population to adapt to sometimes hostile conditions. Located right in the middle of endless dunes, swept by the winds, sand and waves on foggy days, one ventures there with trepidation. The road stops a few kilometres from the coast, the rest of the route is on a track through the middle of the dunes, without any signs.
