SIDI BOUAFI LIGHTHOUSE
Built between 1914 and 1916 by German prisoners during the war and designed by French architects, the lighthouse of "Sidi Bouafi" is an imposing monument of the city of El Jadida that allows navigators coming from the Azores archipelago to the Atlantic coasts of Morocco or Europe to position themselves.
The flashes of light, visible from a distance of 30 nautical miles, are emitted in the form of a rotating beam at the speed of 3 revolutions per minute.
You have to climb 248 steps to reach the top to discover an exceptional view of the sea and city.
