MOUSSEM MOULAY ABDELLAH AMGHAR

At the beginning of every August the rural commune of Moulay Abdellah (Province of El Jadida) organises the Moussem of Moulay Abdellah Amghar. On the programme of this event are religious activities including the collective reading of the Koran, the recitation of the invocation of the prophet, shows, fantasia, pop music at night and falconry.

More than 12 regions compete in the fantasia competition in order to show and highlight their customs and traditions to the more than 500,000 visitors who come from Morocco and abroad to celebrate this cultural event in the Province of El Jadida in Morocco.
